Maybe you envision yourself overlooking the rugged cliffs of California coastline, smelling pines and eucalyptus while the wind carries your vows towards the vast ocean.
Amy & Marcus
Amy and Marcus are an absolutely fearless power couple living in Chicago. Their large traditional summer wedding was planned for mid-August, but they ended up taking a completely different route, kind of an exciting off-road, if you will. Their untamed spirits always dreamt of an epic adventure elopement in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and covid made it happen.
Cat and Menno met on the slopes as badass ski/snowboard instructors while working in the Austrian Alps about a decade ago. They are both expats that decided to settle in the heart of Europe, near Innsbruck. They have pet bunnies together, a ton of thrilling hobbies and adventurous travels under their belt.
Kristina and Sasha posed under waterfalls, on soft beds of moss, banks of a freezing river and on top of Austria's highest glacier ski area. They put on their beautiful outfits, hiking boots, backpacks and off we went. Hugs, tea and extra layers kept them warm in between shoots and I must say, that those moments turned out to be the cutest candid bits of their day. They didn't complain about being cold once!
Julia and Robert, two bon-vivants with European roots, eloped last summer at the local courthouse in Ann Arbor with only a couple of witnesses, without an official wedding photographer. I wanted to capture their playful personalities and create a unique look for their post-wedding adventure photo session, so we went for a mixture of bohemian vibe and European styling, featuring a touch of Wes Anderson.
EJ and Con are one of the most beautiful human beings I've had the pleasure meeting while working as a wedding photographer. Their love, kindness and joy seeps through every interaction and it touched me on a deeply personal level. Originally from the Netherlands, they have been traveling the world together along with their black Labrador Joep, recently settling in Austria.
