Michigan Bohemian Backyard Wedding Inspiration
Priscilla and Jake planned a backyard wedding at their private property on a chilly October evening. They married surrounded by their closest circle of family and friends.

The creative couple decorated with bohemian accents, triangle wedding ceremony altar and red and sage florals. The wedding reception table scapes were out of a dream and their baby duck made a special appearance for a quick photo session with the newly wed couple.

Wedding decor and vintage accents
Everything about this stunning Michigan backyard wedding was impeccably planned and thought out. The bride and groom chose red and sage green to be their dominant colors and I must say, it was a perfectly symbolic choice! Their beautiful relationship is full of passion, as well as calm, grounding energy. The vintage typewriter, Persian rug and a delicious grazing table setup were absolute visual highlights at their backyard wedding. And a huge shoutout to the bride Priscilla for creating stunning wall decors of rattan baskets and roses and all the floral arrangements. Priscila sourced her flowers from FiftyFlowers

Bohemian Backyard Wedding Reception
During the celebratory evening the wedding party made fire, ate al fresco, danced to a mariachi band and completely destroyed a wedding piñata. Towards the end of the night, the couple did an intimate fire unity ceremony, which was such a beautiful and unique ending to their micro wedding day.

While Priscila and Jake married during the pandemic and only invited a handful of family and friends, I am a firm believer that a micro wedding is such a fantastic option for couples that want to have an intimate wedding. I observed that the covid era surfaced a plethora of beautiful wedding alternatives and inspired couples to explore other options. So don’t be afraid to embark on an unforgettable wedding adventure with a handful of guests right in your whimsical backyard!
