Detroit’s creative landscape has always pulled me toward contrast, industrial foundations paired with curated, quiet spaces. That tension is what shapes my boudoir work. Instead of a traditional studio, I often choose modern private Airbnbs for sessions because they offer the warm authenticity I need for this intimate portrait work.

A thoughtfully designed Airbnb gives me the neutral canvas that my style depends on. Clean architecture, natural light, and purposeful décor allow the environment to support the subject instead of competing with them. The space becomes part of the composition – textures, shadows, artwork and curated furniture all contribute to the subtle editorial mood I aim for.

My boudoir approach is rooted in sensitivity to the female form. It’s a celebration of light and shadow, soft shape and soft focus. I don’t aim to show everything; my work takes my clients on an exploration of mood and soul.

Using a private Airbnb allows me to control the pace and atmosphere of each session. There’s no outside noise, no interruptions, and no unfamiliar faces entering the space. Clients can settle in, breathe, and take their time. When my clients feel at ease, the work becomes more authentic, more grounded, and more intentional.
That comfort directly influences the images we create together, we move slower, observe more, and shape each frame with intention. Throughout this collaborative process, I take the time to read my client’s energy and think about the most authentic approach while incorporating features of the environment.
